Specification Lock – Another Reason for the High Number of Thai Singles in Thailand in 2024, according to Thailand’s Best and Longest Running High-End Matchmaking Company, Bangkok Matching.

According to the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), or the National Development Council, as revealed on May 27, 2024, Thailand is currently accelerating policies to encourage childbirth, targeting couples to address the issue of low birth rates. However, data from the 2023 Socio-Economic Survey (SES) indicates an increase in the number of single individuals in Thailand, accounting for 23.9%. Specifically, within the reproductive age group, the proportion is as high as 40.5%, nearly double the national average and an increase from 35.7% in 2017.

As Thailand’s Best and Longest Running High-End Matchmaking Company, Bangkok Matching has been providing services for quality singles in the working-age group for over 18 years. It is well aware that, aside from economic and social reasons, another factor contributing to the reluctance to have children is the large number of singles who want a partner but cannot find one. If they do not find someone they truly like, they prefer to remain single. This mindset is encapsulated by the modern singles’ motto: “If I can’t find a partner who improves my life, I’d rather stay single.
